NETLEY CREEK GOLF COURSE & THE MALLARD CAFE public restaurant is now hiring for the following seasonal Volunteers and Full Time & Part Time Positions between April - Oct 30th;

Full Time & Part Time Staff:

  • Short Order & Prep Cooks
  • Cashier & Beverage Cart/Servers for Tournaments/Banquets and Counter & Dinner Service
  • Proshop & Sales Service Clerks with Cashier & Reception/Phone experience
  • General Grounds Crew and Small Engine Repairs.


Note: * All STAFF if hired, MUST provide a recent criminal record and hold a Serving It Right/Its Good Business LQR Serving Lic as per the MB LQR Act if working at the Clubhouse. All STAFF working on the Grounds/ Maintenance Crew MUST also provide a current Drivers Abstract and hold a Valid Drivers license. Mature persons with good attitudes/health and of 18+ years of age preferred, but willing to train those who want to rise above & beyond and provide Excellent Customer Service at all times.
*ALL future STAFF should provide; 2 (work related) references on resumes along with what position they are applying, what date they can start, what hrs/shift they can work, related work experiences, expected wages and have reliable transportation.

Part Time/Seasonal Volunteers Wanted - ALL AGES Welcome:

  • General Gardener - to help with tree and shrub pruning/trimming, weeding/edging/planting of flower beds/pots on golf course and a zest and love for gardening.
  • Golf Marshals/Starters - to help pro-shop and golf pro with assisting of Junior and/or Adult Golf Programs and set up for Tournament & Carts, etc. (A good knowledge of golf - rules - etiquette and pace of play an asset).
  • Bird Lovers - to help fill bird stations and help build bird and bat houses to erect on golf course and help maintain and monitor results for hatching and nesting of boxes. (4H Club, Girl/Boy Guides/Scouts & Schools also welcome for these projects).
  • Charity Golf Event Helpers - to help run tournament games/contest, set up carts/markers/signage, decorate tent and set up and dismantle chairs/tables in tent/clubhouse for event, help with food prepping, help with serving of food(s), work at least a 3 hr shift to help raise money for ie.) C.B.C.F. - Breast Cancer Research and others.


Note: *ALL VOLUNTEERS are expected to be excellent ambassadors as well as help clean up of garbage on grounds & surrounding environmental areas of said property to help Mother Earth. Excellent opportunity for active Seniors who love the out doors and young teens or adults who want to gain credit or work experience and skills!
